We’re Michelle and Kristina — cousins, lifelong friends, and now co-owners of The Favorites’ Retreat. This Twain Harte cabin has been in our family for generations, originally built by our grandparents Barbara and Bernie and their seven children. It’s where we grew up making some of our favorite memories, and we’re honored to carry on their legacy by bringing new life to this special home.

Kristina, a designer and creative director with over 20 years of experience, is leading the creative vision and design. Michelle, with 25+ years in personnel and finance, keeps our operations running seamlessly. Sharing the same eye for style and love of beautiful, welcoming spaces, we’re creating a retreat that reflects our shared taste — a blend of California charm, comfort, and quiet luxury.
